AliGauld
Hi There, About a year ago I got the nerve up to post my first build here. Tonight I have finished my second Spitfire but this time in Turkish Colours. This one has been put together in secret as it will form part of the Christmas Eve Box for Innis, my nephew who normally helps with the builds. The kit was an Aldi special, Painted with Tamiya and Vallejo ModelAir. Decals from Tigerhead. I used some of the Airfix stencils and you will notice that I got the walkway ones completely wrong. Hey-ho Stuff just happens. As always Thanks for looking. Cheers, Alistair

Vinnie
Nicely finished, and as has been said, good to see unusual markings.👍

Wulfman
Very nice and interesting build, this spit was returned to the RAF and used as a trainer in North Africa. Wulman

Wulman Thanks. I believe that three MK1A Spits were destined for Poland but were diverted to Turkey. Two were then handed back to the DAF on the promise of MkV's later. djos
Very nice Spitfire in interesting markings. Only small suggestion, exhaust pipes will be more realistic if you mix black, red and brown, as already you have those colors you will get some like rusty finish. But that is matter of taste. I like it how it looks now. Best regards Djordje
kapam
Very nice spitfire in not-the-usual livery. Like the poster above, I only question the bright red exhausts, but I may be misjudging the real plane. A great model anyway.

I wasn't sure about that but tried it thinking I could cover it up and wash them to be more burnt metal and exhaust-like. Is it realistic, probably not, but I think it looks different and so I decided to go with it.
