2019 has been another year of building models, mostly for other people. However, the first completion of the year was a model for myself, finished in January.

Ryan PT-22

The aircraft was the Special Hobby PT-20 with a resin conversion to build a Ryan PT-22. I flew the fullsize example back in 2016, which planted the seed to build a model of the aircraft I flew.

Lunar Eggle Module

Number three was a joint project with my daughter for a school Easter Egg competition and was completed in March. The theme chosen by the school was space, so we made a Lunar Eggle module, "The Eggle has Landed".

Jeep in a Crate

May saw the completion of two 1/35 scale Jeeps in their packing crates. I did one last year and after members of the owner's family saw it, they wanted one too.

Bucker Jungmann

The second last model for 2019 was this 1/32 scale Jungmann, finished in November. It is to be used by the pilot of the fullsize aircraft to plan aerobatic schedules. It was a modified Revell kit, strengthened to help it survive handling.
