JWM
Hi, The second construction by Beriev, after recently posted MBR-2 M-17 in Finnish colours. It is Be-2 known also as KOR-1. It was produced only in series of 12 machines, two of them were with different engines or three blades prop, so in fact the regular production was only of ten. I think they served in Black Sea/Crimea area as well as on Baltic. Model is a short run by A-model from 1998, not badly engineered but of typical expected quality for this kind of model. The WIP thread is in Floatplanes and Flying boats GB II here: Here she is: Comments welcome Regards J-W

kapam
Excellent! It is clear you are very capable with the rigging on biplanes of this scale. I will go look at you WIP posts to see how it's done.

JWM
Dear All, Many thanks for all comments, I appreciete them. Somehow since I started to interesting on WWII airplanes in childhood (so under communist times) all Soviet constructions from war were promoted and I was recently surprised by other news- that this type was produced only as 12 of them at all! This explains why I had difficulty to find other scheme that the one from box (two others known from photos are proptotypes). Cheers J-W
