LOL Pull up a chair young man, there is some cold ones in the fridge. Well, in-between doing odds and ends around the flat I ,managed to sort out the under-wing stores. I am using this load out. ECM pod centre line Just the front part to add once painted. 370 Gallon wing tanks. The pylon on the upper one is dry fitted. AGM 88 HARM`s on the next pylons, 7 pieces to each. And AIM 120 C`s which have 8 pieces each. I am going to leave it here tonight to allow the missiles to set. Then clean them up ready for priming. If the rest of the kit goes together like it has already , then it shall be very enjoyable indeed. All comments welcome. Simon. 6

Right first up the HUD. 6 parts ( I have only used 5 so far the main screen will be added after painting). The boarding ladder next, 6 parts crisply moulded. And put together. Right those missiles? Well moulded and detailed yes apart the the end. As you can see a lovely join line!!!! A dab of Mr 500 should cover them, hopefully (all of them have this problem). Well time for tea soon. Fair enough Can you punch out a thin plastic disc of the same diameter? You just need to slide it in then, and a drop of Tamiya Green Cap to seal the edges. That's my go-to tactic when I need to fill recessed seam lines Ciao

That's my go-to tactic when I need to fill recessed seam lines Ciao I would do Giorgio but alas I have no punches , yet. OK, A little, and I mean little bit more done tonight. The nose wheel leg, my first using white metal parts. And together. A wee gap but nothing that a drop of Mr 500 will not solve, fingers crossed. Well that is it for today, hope to get some priming done tomorrow (weather permitting). All comments welcome. Simon.

That will do for now. Time for a bit of brunch then I will continue (I hope). All comments welcome. Simon.

U/C bat + engine bay . Various bits. Seat. U/C`s done. Bugger, seam line. Engine bits. And engine trolley. OK, time for tea soon. Fulcrum Guy
I'll second (or third) the speed of your build, and everything (touch wood) is without major hiccup
Spookytooth
Thanks @keefr22, @The Baron and @Fulcrum Guy, things were going along nicely. But have stopped the build for a couple of days to beat the Xmas dash. Hope to get going over the weekend. Simon.
Alan P
Your enthusiasm for this build is really coming across 😃👍 Quick question: are you building the engine up for separate display with the aft engine bay exposed?

I was going to suggest using the Aires tailpipe set so you can close up the fuselage and still have the engine on display.

But you would need a second intake fan section as well. I ordered a spare of the corresponding parts tree. Or you could use an intake cover. Cheers, Markus

A little bit done this evening. Stores before. And after. And pylons 6 of them for now. I am leaving all there tonight and see how tomorrow goes, All comments welcome.
