Excellen looking Peshka!

I like your shades of Russian VVS colours. What you use exactly? (if you can give code numbers of Gunze paints)

regards

J-W

Thank you Sir!

I used the following mix of colors:

Brown H71 + H72 (70% / 30%)
Green H303
Dark Grey H32 + H77 (80% / 20%)
Light Blue (undersides) :H67 + H56 (90% / 10%)

All colors were applied over a black/white pre-shading basecoat.

Hi Roman,

What a gorgeous job you've done. Really like it a lot!

Just one question you may be able to answer - have you done the UM kit, and if so, how do they compare?

Cheers,

Matt

I built the UM Pe-2 back in 2013:

The Zvezda kit is better in all regards - fit, surfaces, detail and price!

Occasionally I bump into some Italeri Pe-2 for sale online, but I always let it pass, wondering how the new Zvezda kit would be.
Your build is the ultimate promotion for that kit. A beautiful build, and this model goes straight onto my wish list.

That is beautiful work!  I love the subtle weathering and paint tone variation -- it makes it very realistic looking.  I've been wanting to do a Pe-2 for a while, it's nice to know there's a good kit available for it!
