Decided for this model, something a bit out of norm, one of the testbeds for the 190C high-altitude fighter. Annoyingly, in the UK at least, while HB Fw109D family are cheap, this one isn't, which is a shame as if you are interested in Fw190 experimantals, it has very useful parts, for example the Fw190 V-32, which has the same nose and 4 blade prop, and no side fairings, but a unique extended wing. Already thought of that too, building a different V version, but my dad will stick with the V18. The fairings are hard to recreate or to scratch-build. Like many other modelers he´ll do it without.
