cema_ga
Hi comrades! Here is my take on AMT kit. Despite the kit's age, it was a pleasant build. Aftermarket used: Foxbot decals (excellent!) Eduard brass (intermediate, not everything helpful) True detail resin wheels and rescue inflatable boat - (nice) Montex masks for canopy and standard markings (excellent) Quickboost engines, cowlings and browning's - (good, but engines were additionally wired ) Scratchbuilt: engines wiring, wheel wells wiring, wings navigation lights, tail light enhanced. Thanks for looking The build is here
Alan P
Looks great with those decals. Some of the old AMT kits build up really well and yours is a great example 👍

HansReggelsen
What a lovely model! Well done indeed! Just one thing - could you guys please stop refering to this kit as being 'OLD'! I remember when it came out! () Cheers Hans J 1 1
Kushan_Farsight
Cracking rendition of one of my favourite WW2 warbirds. Love the 'nose' art !
72modeler
Very, very nice! Don't see very many of the AMT kits built, and you have done a great job with yours. No medium green blotching on this one? Mike

No, definitely the green bloches invisible on the original photo...so I did in my model
72modeler
Yep- you got it right...I think the blotching was more prevalent on the A-20's in the ETO. I notice what looks like a doped patch on the rudder. Mike

Gary Brantley
Great looking bomber cema! 🥂 I have that kit in my stash and your build is a great inspiration! And I agree with Hans, it's not "old", just seasoned! 😁
BlueNosers352nd
Great job, built one years ago. It's since been destroyed (and I don't recall how). I remember the wing roots giving me such fits. Got another one on the shelf.......maybe someday.
