Can you name this US flatbed truck?

I'm investigating the possibility of modelling a still from the 1969 film 'Marooned'.  The scene is of the fictitious X-RV lifting body being lowered on to the back of flat bed truck at Cape Canaveral.  I've managed to source base kits for the X-RV lifting body and the CH-3C helicopter, the last piece of the jigsaw is the flat bed truck.  Any ideas?

What scale do you want? If it's 1./48 (ish), this might help:

And in 1/72 (ish) this could be a starting point for some conversion work:

You might be able to find this on eBay:

[EDIT] Indeed you can:

Michael,

It appears to be a early series 40' fruehauf  drop deck or some times called a lowboy trailer. A true lowboy is a heavy weight transport flat trailer. AMT a very long time ago issued a series of trailers. Great Dane also made flatbed trailers. We in the USAF loading B-52D's used 2 styles of flat trailers. Found these on the internet and may help

The lower is a new series Great Dane

Hope this helps. If you plan on any scale other than 1/24th or 1/25th you'll have to scale it down. Have seen sometimes in a few classic car model web sites

I think the tractor unit is an International Harvester NV-184. White Box do a diecast in 1/43 but it will need modifying.

Looking at the International Harvester NV-184 and picture from the movie I think the M-19 might be much too large.  I'm now thinking the Airfix RAF Recovery set may make a far better donor kit.
