Apollo 15 spacewalk base model?

I was probably looking for somewhere between 1/100 and 1/60, so (from my investigations to date) 1/96 or 1/72 look the most likely scales.

Yes, the SIMbay looks a bit fiddly to reproduce, but doable. The issue is that many accurate renditions of the CSM are resin kits. I would need an injection moulded base kit for both the Command module (hatch open) and for the Service module (SIMbay). So far the only two suitable donors that I've found are one on Shapeways and the Dragon kit.  Both are rather pricey.

The Dragon 1/72 Command/Service Module is quite nice.

You could use one of the AIrfix HO/OO astronauts as a basis for your spacewalking Worden.

Dragon did an Apollo 17 model which included the SIMBAY.

Thanks for the heads up.  However, it is discontinued.  I guess my best bet is to wait until 2022 and hope it is reissued for the 50th anniversary of the flight.
