Popular Post Redboost
Hi folks, this is new addition in my IAF collection. Special Hobby made a fine job on this elegant French fighter and it is excellent kit just of ouf the box; in addition I used Eduard etched mainly for the flaps air brakes. This re-engined Sambad flew with no.105 Scorpion squadron in early 1970's. Cheers Libor 82

RidgeRunner
Its great to see one of these built, Libor. You've done a great job with her. It would be good to know any issues you had during construction. I have three in the pile waiting for me to find the time! ;). Martin
Vultures1
Excellent work! I've got one of these in the stash as well, so any comments on your build experience would be most welcome ... not that my efforts will ever be as good as yours

exdraken
Very nice!! Are those Napalm tanks outboard?
Redboost
Thanks everyone for comments, appreciated! I'm afraid I have almost nothing to report, it is "just" regular mainstream kit which builds nicely without any fit or other issues. I've sweeten the the build with some surgery needed for air brakes and flaps installations, but the kit seems to be pre-designed fot that, so it was also quite straightforward. Exdraken: yes, these are Napalm tanks. Cheers Libor
binbrook87
Very nice indeed. I've been tempted by this kit and now seeing your superb example I'm seriously thinking of asking Santa for one! 🙂
ArmouredSprue
Exceptional model mate. May I ask what paint colours did you use? I'm thinking about building a Kfir and these colours are spot on. Cheers
Dennis_C
Excellent quality! Inspires to quickly run and buy one of those. Hope SH soon makes a box of pre-upgrade Super Mysteres for 1967 campaign.

Redboost
Thanks mates! ArmouredSprue: these are Gunze H acrylics as per the instructions. For the KFIR though the green may differs, as at some point in 1980's it changed to a more lighter color similar to British WWII Sky. My own mix is for it is the original H312 Green +H74 Sky in 50:50 ratio. Cheers Libor
Reini78
Excellent work there I wish someone would finally do a decent 1/48 kit of it...
Roman Schilhart
Another beautiful model! Israeli colors are really attractive. The open flaps and airbrakes are the cherry on the pie.
Silenoz
Lovely work, not only on the build (the extra details like rivetting etc) but also on the camo and restrained weathering...

sosa_1991
Libor, beautiful work! I always love seeing the Super Mystere in all colors it served under. My father had the opportunity to fly and be an SMB2 instructior for the Honduran airforce. He flew the Mystere from 1978-1993 and was his most favorite combat aircraft to fly! Pardon me for being so direct in this question, but would you ever consider selling this model?
