Will Vale
Excellent detail work! The combinations of materials and textures are very effective. I was surprised to see that you made parts from Lego, normally those stand out as looking just like Lego but I think they're really effective here. Will Thanks Vale, i discovered that some Lego bricks (especially for 1/8) are the a easy way to reproduce some shape without go crazy to selfmade. Thanks for all, and I'm very glad to know that you're watching my build 😀

gt6mkiii
Awesome stuff! A dream project of mine is to find a 1/8 scale kit of a subject I like and really go all out on detailing it. This thread really puts in perspective how much effort goes into putting all those extra details in. Looking forward to seeing this one finished!

Darin Thanks to much Gt6mkIII (do you own Mk6 and Mk3 Vw Golf?) and Dr. Fiat (I think watching you nick, yo're a fan of italian cars) for your words, I think that this poor Delta Hachette now is lightly better than out of box. Thanks very much again
Frah2o
Before to start the final boyshell assembly, I started with some little but essential work to reach a final better look - I erased the key lock form rear handle door (on real delta the rear handles are blanked) - I opened the hole for fitting the rear latch trunk on inside trunk structure. On real delta the latch is missing because the trunk is closed by two extrenal fast releases. - I removed the rear kit badge because "DELTA HF Integrale" is wrong for the 1991, the correct badge is "DELTA HF Integrale 16V". And I also removed Delta because both kit badges are with a dull red. After I placed the new decals, I gave some final clear gloss to recah the gloss and 3D llok like on real badges. - I erased the wrong license plate number (Hachette use a wrong number. This number was used by Kankunnen in 1000 lakes rallye and Portugal if i well rember. I placed new correct number plate used by Biasion/Siviero for 1991 SanRemo rallye - I opened the blank fuel vapour valve on ext side of rear pillars cover. After opening it I made some little painting detail - I finished a little painting detail on door latch positioned on bodyshell - The taillights kit are huge and unwatchable. I completed rework the rear lenses: i removed the led holder, i stripped out the chrome and i start to remade the base of lenses, in the future post i'll show the lens divisors for stop, position light and turn signal. - I dampened the gloss effect of tail lights that is wrong. I sprayed the clear matt in "fog mod" to crecrate the opaque and little wrinkle effect of the 90's taillight. I also gave some clear red and orange to gave more deep.

Frah2o
The Christmas holiday was so good to reach the final stage of this project and now I’m quite near to the finish of this third delta ( I’m just now on final decal work and final details check) I will divide the post into several. 1/3 - I repainted radiator crossbar in flat aluminum as on on 1:1 delta - I added reflector inside the lens in the Stop portion - I filled with cyano and bicarbonate the holes of front mudflaps fitted for gravel and safari rally and finally 3 coats of X2. These plugged holes will then be covered by the round decals for inserting the jack - I applied Decal Selenia inside the hood. - I closed the holes for the spoiler evo (incorrect) and applied the two caps welded with cyano and bicarbonate and then the usual 3 coats of X2 - I painted in silver leaf the housing of the reverse lights to give a correct look - I apply the fireporoff on the trunk box - I applied neoprene anti-vibration strip on the front crossbar of the engine like on real delta
