Nigel Bunker
As I recall with this type of helicopter, the devil is in the rear end. There are changes to the fenestron rotor diameter, the number of blades and the size of the hole in the fenestron. Hopefully somebody who knows more than I will be along shortly. GeejeeZ
Besides the Z-9WA (🤔) I have the different DreamModel Dauphins. Every type has type specific transparent window types, PE and resin parts included. I expected the fuselage parts (one mould with two sides and the cockpit roof) to be identical for every kit type, but to my surprise the Z-9J Dolphin (https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm720009-z-9dj-dolphin--1190381) has slightly altered fuselage halves (nose) and a different cockpit roof part. Afaik there are two DreamModel Z-9 types: the one as mentioned above and the Z-9WA (https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm-720002-pla-army-z-9wa--1070105). If you refer to the latter, I would guess that the transparent parts are different, the Z-9WA having less passenger windows. Just out of curiosity: why not just buy a DreamModel Dauphin? The kit has a nice price. Edited December 5, 2019 by GeejeeZ

GeejeeZ
They do several of them, every few months they release a new type: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm720001-as365n2-z-9a-dolphin-2-helicopter--1255646 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm-720003-hh-65a-b-dolphin--1070106 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm-720004-pla-navy-asw-helicopter--1127361 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm-720005-hh-mh-65c-d-dolphin--1170937 https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dreammodel-dm-720008-as-565-panther--1170936 and the two I mentioned in my earlier post. At last after all these Lynxes, Hueys, Mi-xxs, Cobras en Black Hawks a subject that can be built into civil types, so I am having a great time building several of them!
