Here we go as promised. Part 2 with the inside of the museum. Part of the displays were not available for photo taking since that part was under construction. So we start with a model of the Apollo space mission:

I forgot to ask you, did they still have the tour of the missile silo or was it gone by then ? When i was there in 2016 i was a couple of months early. Its only open from like June to September.

I didn't see anything that would suggest that a silo tour was available. I would have gone on the tour. I believe the wife would also. See liked the tour around the AMARC site. Could be just a summer thing. We were there the end of April. This was the morning we left for North Dakota.

If you haven't done it already. The Titan Missile Silo Tour in Phoenix is well worth it as well.  Only up the road from you in NM too!

I was fascinated by it, we only did the 90 min tour, but there is a 3 hour tour as well

Cheers

Only heard about that not long ago. Think it was a program on the science go channel. Will add that to our list. I want to go back to Pima Air Museum and the airport north of Tucson. I want to go in the early spring or late fall this time. Thank you for the heads up on the Titan site.
