1/48 Beaufighter question

Does any one make  the camera "pod" that goes on top of the cockpit roof of the Beaufighter?

Seems it's the one thing that is missing on both the Tamiya and Revell kits.

Thanks in advance.

Many thanks for your help guys. It's the sort of thing Quickboost would do ...but don't. :undecided:

Hi Dick. The only 1:48 Beaufighter kit that has the fuselage top mounted strike camera pod was the Falcon vacform kit. It comes as an opaque moulding.

In many ways this kit is still way ahead of it's later injected rivals. Parts are provided to build all the radial engine marks from a Mk.1 to a thimble nosed TFX including early and late canopies and flat or dihederal tailplanes!

If you are in no great hurry, I can cut it out of the sheet and mail one to you.

If so, send me a pm with your address and I'll get it on the way.

Cheers,

Pete M.
