EwenS Posted November 27, 2019 Share Posted November 27, 2019 The aerial beneath the turret is, I believe, the transmitting aerial for the Monica tail warning radar used by Bomber Command aircraft between mid 1942 and mid 1944, when it was discovered that the Germans had a device to home onto its transmissions.
