Avereda
This came to grief in the 2017 Matchbox GB, I’ll put up some up to date photos later once I’ve dug all the parts out. Original thread here
Avereda
State of the model shown below, the state of my back (not pictured) is preventing any progress at the moment. However, I can now put my socks and shoes on unaided so things are improving, they may be hope yet that this one gets done.
jean
This has a great potential! I hope your back problems go away soonest. Usually very painful. A super new year to you. JR

A super new year to you. JR Thanks JR and a great new year to you. The fuselage has been reattached it itself and then everything has been slathered in Mr Surfacer 1200 while I ponder the next move. I’m probably going to put down the airbrush and hand paint for a change but I’m not totally decided as yet.
jean
Nothing wrong with going back to basics on occasion! Handbrush is good! Cheers JR

Cheers JR Particularly given the relatively deep panel lines - a few brush coats could fill them up a bit! I have one of these somewhere in the Coastal Command grey over sky scheme - it looks quite good. Pete Edited January 10, 2020 by PeterB

Chris That's as may be, but it does seem a shame to leave stuff unused in the box !

Wise words as always Chris. However this is KUTA World where completion trumps verity. Not only will there be rockets and and a torpedo but there will also be wheels up and no pilot.

Avereda
Came very close to an abandonment this afternoon. Sky on the undersides but a drop on the bench has opened up a nasty seam at the rear of the fuselage. Wine and deep breathing has helped avoid a binning. Back at it tomorrow hopefully.
Jinxman
Chin up - it's looking great. More wine always helps, though I tend to head straight for the whiskey. 😁
