beetcleaner
I need to replace the filters in my Graphicair 300 spray booth. I've seen various posts on the net that say you can buy filter material in rolls to make your own which works out far cheaper. Does anyone have any info on the spec of filter material required and where it can be purchased from? thanks in advance for any advice
PDH
You can buy via eBay - look for filter material like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blue-White-Spray-Booth-Intake-Air-Filter-Media-1m-x-10m/162302303971 HTH P
Steve Noble
I actually took one apart and it's two types of filter material. The front one is a glass fibre type and the rear a denser white type, similar to a fish pump type material. You can get both rolls on eBay. I made a metal frame the same size as the original filter edging and welded a square mesh to the front. I then duplicated the metal frame and drilled through the edge of both parts on all four sides. Then I simply cut the two filter sheets and sandwich them between the two metal frames. It's all held together with four set screws with bolts on the end. I think I worked out that a new filter now costs about 18p..
