Kitchen Modeller
Hi all - Here's my latest - Tamiya's P-51D in 1/48 - An enjoyable build although as ever, Tamiya's decals put up quite a fight. The kit is old but still top quality - it goes together very nicely - My one issue is the way the canopy is attached - with no framing where it meets the plastic. I added scratch built details to the wheel bays, used a Eduard PE cockpit interior with additional parts - also Eduard resin wheels. Painted in Alclad and Tamiya arylics - weathered with oils, enamel washes and pigments. WIP build is here: Thanks for watching Cheers John 63
Robert_
Wow, that's great. The weathering is superb as well as the photos! BTW, what belts did you use?

TimT
It looked good during the WIP, but it really flies in your photos here. That blue against the various kinds of silver is very satisfying; looks a bit regal and very purposeful.
