looking for specific Mosquito pictures for two a/c

Hi all,

Having finished my Spitfire PR XI conversion, I am returning to Mosquitoes for a while.  I want to do Cunningham and Rawnsley's NF XII; what I need but have not found is a picture- not from a model or illustration- showing the serial number DZ302/G.  I will need to have decals made and I want to duplicate the actual serial number style, if possible, rather than using a standard font.

And likewise for DZ383 and DZ414; both of these were, I believe, bomber Mk IV's used in the FPU towards the end of the war.

Thanks in advance for any light you can shed!

Cheers, Jim

Can't help with photos but would be surprised if the serial number style for your subjects is so non-standard that it won't be represented in the excellent and reasonably priced Ventura sheets, which have style variants for some characters.  Available in 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72:

There’s no compelling reason to believe that DZ302/G would not have had her serial applied in anything other than the standard form, copies of which are available on a number of commercially available decal sheets as Seahawk has illustrated above.

Gents,

Whoops, my bad, I have DZ383 from the same picture via the IWM.  Thanks all the same, Simon.  As for the standard styles, DZ383 is a good example of at least the one other "standard" style; the three's top halves have a downward diagonal section instead of the usual rounded shape.  This is catered for in the Ventura sheets, so I believe there are several styles depending on the style of the number or letter.  So that leaves me with the need to find photos of the serials for DZ414 and DZ302/G...

Thank you for the assistance, gentlemen!

Cheers, Jim
