djos
Hi all One more Phantom in the line - finished. Again very old mold from Italeri, this time F4G WW. Will not bother you to much as this is so well known model, ans same as the F4S i enjoyed every second working on it. Some details added in the cockpit to make it more busy, colors Vallejo, minimal weathering with pastels, and semi gloss finish with gunze. I AM VERY GRATEFUL to our colleague Andre (hook on the forum) who sent me a decals for this model and those rockets, as i bought this Phantom without decals ad some parts. One of most problematic was radar cone which i copied from another phantom. I hope you will like this model. Best regards to all, and ....pictures

stevehnz
Very nicely done Djordje, nice & neat the way I like it, those stencils (as well as the other decals) really set it off a treat, they must have been hard work though. 72modeler
I do love Wild Weasels, and you have built a very nice one! Very nice result from the Italeri kit. Just curious- are the Italeri F-4's reboxed Esci or Fujimi kits? Mike

djos
Thank you all, i am glad that you like this old bird @72modeler Italeri F4G is regarding brake of the parts same as the ESCI Phantoms. Only what differs those two is that Italeri have raised panel lines and ESCI have recessed. Newer box of F4C/D/J Phantom II Aces is full rebox of ESCI model with recessed panel lines. Newest box from Italeri McDonnell Douglas FG.1 Phantom i think is rebox of Fujimi model Best regards 1
iainpeden
The Italeri Phantom has the more detailed wing tips and , at least in the UK, was/is available as a Tamiya re-box.
