Midland Air Museum Model Show 01/12/19

Recommended Posts

Sunday 1st December 2019

10:00 to 16:00.

Standard museum admission-charges apply (please see the museum's website for full details).

If you're not familiar with the venue, it's on the outer edge of Coventry Airport. The show is a great place to pick up a pre-Christmas bargain or two. Traders usually include Clive Davis, Klassic Kits (Steve Foster), Falcon Aviation, Chris Mitchell Models, S&M Models (Mel Bromley)  and a number of others, too.

The museum's kitchen will be providing sandwiches, toasties, hot and cold drinks, etc. at reasonable prices.

I would recommend that you wear warm clothes - in December, the museum's main-hangar takes on a distinctly "cool" atmosphere.

See everyone there!

Chris.

Crap organisation, just discovered we haven't got a display table when we have supported this show for years.....

There are only so many tables in the heated hut. I imagine that these are allocated to the clubs on a requested basis and every year at least 1 club does not get a place. There does not seem too much appetite for clubs to have a table in the main hanger.

And no I am nothing to do with the organisers who seem to do a thankless task very well

See everyone tomorrow

No excuse in my opinion as it's good manners to let people know especially as we were told all OK at Telford.

And I did.  A bijou show, great atmosphere.  Saw some friends and had a natter; saw some lovely models on display; saw an Airfix 1:48 Red Arrows Gnat at a bargain price and snapped it up.
