With the site using the revenue to host images in situ, rather than have them dispersed across the internet, at the mercy of broken links, very common, and the like. I've just finished administering a web site that for about £130pa offered in excess of 25GB storage. With reasonable manipulation of file size, that's an awful lot of snaps. Of course bearing in mind that none of the pics need to be in a resolution higher than 72pi. Big storage is cheap, especially when spread over an active and enthusiastic membership. Just a thought. In the past, anyone trying to get into that site using Chrome was met with a message stating that the site was insecure. Well I think that the problem was probably the same one experienced here on BM last week. I always used to access the site via Explorer without a problem (still OK that way), but was unable to get into it via Chrome. But I tried Chrome a few days ago and was able to get in with nothing showing with regards to security. And the site had slightly altered (but not much). John. The only difference is that I use Linux rather than Windows, but I don't know how that would make accessing a website different. The site isn't secure. As far as I can see there's no encryption on the site, all pages are standard http, not https, even the login page. If you're just viewing photo's posted on the site through Britmodeller etc this shouldn't pose a problem, but if you're using the site to host your photo's any login and personal details used on the site may be vulnerable. If you're accessing the site via encrypted pages and you're happy with it that's fine. If others are looking to use the site for hosting I'd caution that they should check the security level is acceptable to them (as you should for any site really). I'm getting an orange warning triangle on the padlock which indicates that although the main part of the page is on a secure server, other parts of the page aren't, and could therefore be vulnerable.
