I just love all the choppers that have been brought out in these last few years!  This had been a much overlooked genre but they are (at least to me) very facinating.

Same here!

Although it puzzles me why these manufacturers opt for those rather obscure types, while we helicopter modellers still don't have a possibillity to model the common types like the Bell 206L and 407, AW139, Sikorsky S-76 and S-92, EC155, you name 'em...

Yep, I have one. Can't provide photos, but looks about what I would expect for this genre of kit. Seems similar enough to an AMP product.

That depends. This is what they look like. I imagine they are inevitably over-scale.
