Der kleine blaue Adler

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody.... This originally started out to be a post-war Yugoslavian Bf.109. While in the building process discovered i had the wrong variant for said aircraft. So switched lanes mid build and reverted to a late war Luftwaffe build. I had been wanting to build a high altitude escort fighter from the western front for a long time. I present my G10 in overall RLM76 circa 1945.

I hope it meets with your approval. Questions, comments, and or thoughts ?

That's a modern looking paint scheme :)

One thing that catches my eye is that you might try blending the oil stains & dirt a bit more, in the underside? Or it might be that it's the camera playing tricks, making them look more pronounced that they are :) Engine soot effects on the other hand look spot on!

But great work overall, nice scheme that I have not seen before on 109, 👍👍

Impressive weathering. Those fabulous exhaust stains would have me asking if it had been running on diesel?! ;)

:goodjob:

Thanks for the compliment. By the end of the war i don't think the fuel quality was top shelf.
