theplasticsurgeon
Building this kit, bought earlier tonight from Aldi. As Hot Shots Fallus fighter bomber. The Navy! Using decals from anothe Gnat in my stash. Parts. I've never seen this option built up. And a very quick interior paint job.
theplasticsurgeon
Whilst I'm waiting for the paint to dry (watchin the soaps), here's a reminder of my previous bild of this new Gnat kit from 2014. and my build of the previous Airfix kit and a Matchbox Red Arrow.

The wing isn't a great fit atop the fuselage, at the front. Cockpit is all a bit vague - especialy as mine had just been painted. That back seat looks very reclined. AND I do wish I could fit the undercarriage AFTER painting. Other than that - fine. 1

Thanks, tempted to get one in Aldi as I like the Yellowjacks scheme, heard it had a few problem points and wondered what was ahead of me.

stevehnz
Blue blazes Tim, you've really cranked this one out, I've been on nights all weekend & when I finish, you've finished another model. That'd have taken 3 weeks minimum I reckon. Nicely done too. Steve.
theplasticsurgeon
Tonight I applied a decals saying NAVY atop the wing. Don't know why Airfix missed that - it's one the pictures. Painted the remaing wheels, aerials and probes. Can't complete tomorrow - I'm off to see Midway at the cinema.
