CliffB
START DATE: 7th AUGUST 2021 For some reason, I've always been attracted to high wing aircraft. I'd therefore like to propose a High Wing GB for 2021 please. Eligible, would be any aircraft where the wing is located at or above the top of the fuselage (including biplanes). There's quite a range of potential subjects, for example: Parasol fighters from WWI and between the wars WWII army co-operation (Stork, Lysander, Cub etc.) Flying boats (Catalina, Sunderland, Boeing Clipper etc.) Light utility (Otter, Pioneer, Islander etc.) Airliners (Ambassador, Friendship, BAe 146 etc.) Vietnam era (Bronco, Turbo Porter etc.) Heavy lift (Nordatlas, Hercules, Atlas etc.) Fast jets (Harrier, Corsair II etc.) Is anyone else interested? Then again if i choose something military like B-24 or an A-7 corsair. BTW I do like your choice.
vppelt68
I could be interested...if I only knew how to modify the Revell kit to represent Finnish Border Guard maritime patrol aircraft. Cool looking scheme, isn't it?

uncletommy
Oh why not? I'll probably do a Roden UA-23A Peacemaker or a Bronco L-4 "Rosie the Rocketer" both of which have been languishing in my stash for several years now and are dying to come out and play.

Anything where the wing is located at or above the top of the fuselage is welcome. Although I don't build much now, my first love was 'between the wars' so maybe this GB will tempt me back! Surprisingly, it's an aircraft that doesn't seem to feature very often in Britmodeller GBs. 6 minutes ago, Heather Kay said: I think I’d like to play.
