Black Knight

Help required on source of thin lead sheet

Recommended Posts

I'm in need of some sheets of very, very thin lead

Does anyone know where I get any these days?

Any supplier which might be at SMW, Telford this year?

I don't know about modelling supplies but I got some from eBay, it's used for fly fishing, I wanted self adhesive stuff https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FLY-TYING-VENIARD-ADHESIVE-LEAD-FOIL-SHEET/351931304707?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649

Cheers

Dennis

Thanks,

I've seen the rolls but they're too narrow for my needs. Even though they are self-sticky those sheets might do

Sorry I can't be specific, but the sheet of pewter foil that I use, was purchased at Telford a few years ago, so chances are , they will be there this year.

What about the rolled lead sheets used in Doll Houses from the British company www.hobby.uk.com  where they sell four slightly different sizes plain edge 304x25mm, 304x75mm, small scalloped edge 304x25mm and large scalloped edge 304x25mm.
