The Spadgent
A little more today. 😎 Here’s the first pass of blue on a chest section. Gaining a deep lustre as the colour went on. 😍 Nice! 🥰 more white sections. Skirt. Mid section. And other bits. the red chest parts got a first coat of yellow to add “warmth” to the final colour. and then red. The neck and vent sections got a blast of light grey. The main chest area got a rich and lighter blue. And the front. That’s it for now. I did a bit on the Hurri before to coating ready for weathering. 🥳 Thanks for popping by. Hope you’re enjoying the build. take care and as always. Happy Modelling. Johnny

The Spadgent
Hey. After a few days away with the fam today is a rest day and you know what that means. 😀 more of this. ⚡️🤖 feet next on the bits list. Ping!! looking good. Maybe the chest looks a bit too grubby but I’ll sort that out when it’s assembled. 😇 Taking about assembly, here we go and guess what? I scooped a bit which meant......pegs! 🤣 I had to run a little TET in the break to weld it back together. I have never come across “rub on” transfers on model kits. They are a bit odd as I found out when a chunk of one came off on my finger. 🤨 never mind it’s meant to look worn so. For those with a keen eye will notice that I had put the legs on backwards. So. And now the rear. Looking nice. I really need those feet now. 😂 I’m planning some weather powders too after a bit more of a clean up. This is were we are as of now. Hope you’re all having a lovely time off. more later 🤞 thanks for following and all comments welcome. Johnny. The Spadgent
More done before the dog walk. This thing comes with three types of decal/ sticker which is super different to my standard plane. 🤪 you get rub on things. (madness) clear stickers. (CRaZy) and opaque stickers (total bonkers) I’ll not be using the opaque stickers as I have to draw the line somewhere. 🤨🧐 The rub on ones go on quite well although there is no room for error. 🤪 you begin by cutting them out then carefully putting them in place on the kit. (well this is how I did it, I might be wrong) Then hopefully without moving the transfer you rub lightly with a pencil.(Seemed like the best choice at the time) Then you remove the backing paper and I rolled over with a cotton bud and cut into panel lines with a scalpel blade. not bad. I prefer water slide as the window of error is a lot smaller but there we are. 😆 The see through stickers are a bit more rubbish. I pop them off the sheet then cut them down the best I can, then stick them on. here are some danger signs on the shoulder pads. I decided to start popping parts together. The light was glorious this morning. 😍 An arm went on. Not too far so need to top coat and I’m not done knocking back yet. I’m beginning to like this thing coming together now. still needs more knocking back but I think it’s getting where I want it to be. 😍 The head got primed then added to the feet pile. Back to weapons. these seem to be some kind of crotch shot guns! 🤪 assembled and folded. There going to look good painted. I decided to assemble the stand as it will make it easier to dab the marks away and check the fit. I’m not planning on using the stand as I might do a base. But we shall see. 🌳🌲😇😀 I thought this was nearly done but there seems to be quite a lot left. There are wing things, a shield and a gun left to do. Now where’s that dog? 🐶. Thanks for popping in. more later on. take it easy folks and as always. Happy modelling. Johnny.

The Spadgent
Hi guys. a little more this morning and last night. Zero walked. 😍 Then after a spit of lunch decided to get the wing bits built. Blimey there about as BIG as the geezer himself. 😳 I think they can be posed in different states. They look cool on the suit. I assembled the rear rockets. And checked the fit. ( Not as though you. Red to really ) And the other side. And then the other wing! 😇 A little more has been done but I’m headed for second breakfast. 😆 hope you all have a great New Year’s Eve and a happy new year. all the best. The Spadgent
Hmmmm just found that this was left a little night and dry. It did get finished to a fashion. I need to continue with the wings and guns. I’m feeling the urge to finish this one off. 😇🤩
ConorC
I Love the paint job. There's some really nice subtle shading going on there. Zero's also got a lovely fuzzy face ❤️
