Wingnut Wings Sopwith Triplane 'Black Maria'

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

Wingnuts beautifully crafted Sopwith Triplane has been fumbled together by me over the course of the last 9 months. For anyone who knows me, that is RAPID!

I can't fault the kit. It is pure New Zealand Gold. The only thing I can fault is my need to try to make everything look perfect. I'm sure I can work on that imperfection and as a result build more kits.

I have one image for now, but will upload more soon.

Cheers my dears

I can't see any picture at all - just a flickering grey box!

Cheers

Love the 'reproduced' pose of the model & original photo, what an amazing job you have done Bob.

We need more pictures, not soon, but now .

Waiting with anticipation,

Cheers

John

The pictures with the hand in it looks like a giant holding a real aeroplane.

Looks real.

Nurse! The patient is suffering from delusions!

That is a seriously nice bit of fumbling you've done there.

Very good! What did you use for the rigging?

I used Maxima Fishing line for the rigging. A combo of 2lb and 1.5lb breaking strains. Eyelets (It's what I do!) and 1mm cuts of 0.5mm Nickel Silver tube.

Cheers!
