Unkempt
Another short run kit from Avis of an obscure subject, this time the one-off M.1D racer variant of the M1 fighter. Typical short run, needed a lot of fettling but I quite like the result. A braver man than me would do more justice to that engine piping up front, maybe replacing with carefully bent brass tubing or something, but I used the kit parts and they're not too bad. Anyway: With its Avis Bristol buddy:
Alpha Delta 210
I like it very much! I didn't realise that there had been a racer variant.

Meatbox8
A real beauty. A great rendition of this attractive aircraft. I definitely 'need' one of these (or two).

Kes
Nice! From an era when aircraft design was still influenced by bird anatomy? (the aircraft not the kit!) Ha!

fjaweijfopi4j48
Such a beautiful coochee-coo! Well done Sir, and very nice interior! You beat me to it!, I have the box on the desk. Avis has done a magnificent job with this extensive line of appealing little planes. Cheers

John Masters
I have all three of these new Avis M1 Bristol kits--two military and this one. I am looking forward to building them. It used to be the only 1/72nd scale Bristol M1 was from Czech Master Resin--a fine kit by the way, but OOP or many years. Nice to have these around. Yours looks especially nice!

Builds up ok though if you want to put the time and effort in. No need to now with the Avis kits, they look great! This one is lovely, fine job, and I hadn't realised that there was a radial engine version! Ian Edited October 29, 2019 by limeypilot 1
