Viking
Fokker DR1 Triplane, 425/17. Roden 1:32 I recently bought this Roden 1:32 kit of the Fokker DR.1, only for Wingnut Wings to announce their own kit to be released later this year. Of course I would prefer the Wingnut Wings kit, so before this one got relegated to back of the stash, I though I'd better build it. It is a perfectly nice little kit, there is nothing wrong with it except for a few simplified details, which are easily corrected. If it is of interest I did a Work In Progress thread on this forum. Anyway, I am pleased to add this to my display cabinet. The figure of Manfred von Richthofen & Moritz (the dog) is from Elan13 miniatures, and a really beautifully sculpted and cast piece. Thanks for looking, John

stringbag
Superbly built and finished John. It will make a rather colourful addition to the display cabinet too. Chris.

cduckworth
Very nice build! Did I read that his triplane was covered in silk and painted red at the factory?
