Vlad
Are there any good, accurately shaped kit options at all for a 1/144 Su-33? A quick internet search would point to the answer being "no" but worth a try here.
Hook
Not as of yet. The closest was this: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/dragon-4542-02-su-27-naval-flanker--1172959 Cheers, Andre
Vlad
I spotted that but it's pretty bad in terms of nose shape (never mind being very hard to find). It would probably be less work to scrach-build canards and other small details onto a Trumpeter 1/144 Su-27, but then there aren't decals for the Su-33 in this scale either... spejic
The worst part of the old Dragon kit was that it was incredibly off-scale. It's closer to 1/200 than 1/144.
Doom3r
Lot of times hasegawa egg planes are close to 144 scale on tail markings. There is a su-33 eggplane so wonder if you can use decals from there (the number under the canopy and navy flag could be bit oversized but I think that number could be reused from the trumpeter/revell kit and flag could be manufactured on your own.
