Robert_
FW190 A-2 depicting Lt. Leopold Wenger’s “Blue 2” of 10./JG 2, Caen-Carpiquet, France, mid-August 1942. This is Tamiya’s 1:48 A3 kit, the A2 resembles the A3 except there are no outer wing cannons. Lt. “Poldi” Wenger damaged this aircraft during take-off at Caen-Carpiquet on the 19th August 1942. Everything out of box except Kagero decals and I used Tamiya paints. Thanks for looking. stevehnz
Nicely done indeed. You've made a sweet job of this, the chipping & weathering very believable. Steve.

Pauls9cb
You've made a great job on this Wurger. Love the paint finish. There's some great pics Wenger took from his cockpit on the Jabo missions 10/JG 2 performed over 1942/43 in Chris Goss' book on this unit's ops and those of 10/JG 26 while the rest of the Jagdwaffe were otherwise engaged in Russia and the Med.

Thanks Paul- I haven't read the book but I'll be sure to find a copy.
