As a result of the close-down of the UK by the British Government last night, we have made all the Buy/Sell areas read-only until we open back up again, so please have a look at the announcement linked here.

Peterborough Scale Model Show 2020

Recommended Posts

Where does the time go, it only seems like yesterday that we had our last show and now here we are again starting to organise the show for 2020. This will be on Sunday 1st march 2020. I have had a lot of replies so far from clubs and traders and it looks like it will be another great show. Once again we are being sponsored by Airfix Model World Magazine.

The Queen Katherine academy is supporting the charity "Young Minds" which helps young people with mental health problems.

Last show we raised over £2600 for charity so lets see if we can better that next time.

If a trader or club wishes to come to our show who haven't been before then please get in touch on peterboroughscalemodelclub-show@outlook,com

If you have been before then please check with the person who organises your club to make sure they have returned the completed booking form.

Look forward to seeing you all at the show.

Don't suppose you know what table space Ipswich have do you? Give us an idea on how much stuff to bring. Julien is away at the moment, so we don't know the final plan.

A fantastic show! Sorry to have missed you Ratch, but given the size of the crowd, hardly surprising.

A few pics from me...

Hi all,

It was a great show and getting more like a mini SMW Telford.

In fact it was announced at the prize giving that this might be the last time at the Academy, as the show had 'out grown the venue.

I think possibly the loss of some of the car parking areas may have caused problems for exhibitors, traders and of course the visitors.

This is a show not to be missed if you're able to go.

I enjoyed the show as I met a few fellow modellers and got to talk to people about various modelling topics.

However the cream on the cake was being awarded best in Class 3 and also Best in Show for my 1:32 scale Aviatik 'Berg' D.1 fighter of WW1.
