Pin
Priming the Pepelatz I was thinking that modern resin kits have become too boring, too crispy, too accurate, too well fit. Then I recalled that somewhere in the vaults lurks a bulb of resin called Gonzoid Aliens APC that fits this GB perfectly so I fetched it for the challenge. This is an Old Skul resin kit, one that mothers scare children with, the like that made Resin a bad name. Good kit, I like it! The biggest problem are the wheels - too skinny with wrong protector pattern. I'm thinking about building wheels from scratch. Using my usual "paper+superglue" technique to fix chipped edges. A revealing coat of primer. Next to boring Pepelatz. This thread is certainly an inspiration.
whitestar12chris
Nice to see this one Alexy, youve certainly got a challenge on your hands, but the results will be well worth it. All the best Chris
Col.
An interesting subject and from one of my favourite films. Best of luck with those shapes.
Caerbannog
Ouch - that really looks like a lot of work. I have a resin APC somewhere stalled as well - the little risin bugger is just a bit on the small side compared to the Halcyon Dropship, so I put it aside some centuries back. Good luck with this one. Will be interesting to watch.

It surely looks scary but in reality all these ugly bumps and caverns are fixable in no time with superglue, proper putty and 400-600 grit sandpaper. I'm wondering if British version has the aux turret on the left ...
Kallisti
Ouch that brings back memories of that awful Gonziod casting! Blimey was that all of 7 years ago!!! Time flies! There is a much better resin APC from Retrokit nowadays - I have one in the stash somewhere. https://retrokitonline.net/product/m577-apc-pre-order-shipping-worldwide-9-november-2015 Good luck with it!!! Pin
Yea, call me a maniac, but I have revived this masochistic project. Yes, I just sanded down all the "detailing" The "face" is all wrong, some cosmetic surgery is needed Borrowed wheels from far better RetroKit
