Old Viper Tester 5,854
F-16XL-1, 75-0749, operated by the F-16XL Combined Test Force, 6510th Test Wing, Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB. Images are from two separate missions flown on 12 October 1982. Even with the CBU-58s carried in tandem, the drag penalty was terrible. Sorry about the watermarks, but some of my images have been appropriated on other sites. Thanks for looking, Sven 22

Thanks for looking, Sven Great and interesting shots yet again - thanks for sharing. Sorry I can't help with the stuff above, you have to take it as a compliment I suppose, (but it still ain't right.)

f111guru 667
Thanks Keith for sharing. It's a shame that your images have been on other sites. I would hope those sites would have at least acknowledged you as the author. I do have many of your images for future reference. Gathered those from the 27th FW or TFW at the time of your images. Been to Red Flag many times. My plans are to build both the F-16XL-1 and convert an F-16 to make F-16XL-2. Again, thank you for sharing. Ron VanDerwarker
