Note to self, watch more Friends, they speak colonial

I've never seen a full episode of it, but whatever language they're speaking is very different from mine.

For my Airfix Hurricane, I painted the exhaust with Tamiya XF-84 Dark Iron and then rubbed a bit of Tamiya Weathering Pastel Rust on them.

One of the cool things I learned on The Great Pilgrimage is that Merlin exhaust stacks vary so wildly, it's very hard to do something wrong with them, but I think what you did and what I did produced similar results, so we can both agree it's The One True Way.

I've been pushing along today. No photos, but the Spitfires are glossed, and the wheels are painted and ready for assembly. Just decals to do tonight at 9 PM or so my time.

Happy New Year Edward!

Did you happen to see the New Years fireworks on the river? Spectacular...the city at it's best.

BTW..your pair of Spitfires are awesome...well done.

All the Best!

Don
