rickshaw
I recently assembled an Academy rebox of an Italeri M47 MBT. In the kit were two pieces of spare track but there was no mention in the instructions were they should be attached. I have searched Google Images for an idea but no M47 seems to be pictured with spare track on them, anywhere. Does anybody have any ideas where I should put the spare track on my M47 model? Kingsman
M47 is a spare link oddity. M46 had brackets for 2 on the turret left side rear. M48 had 1 stowed on each fender in front of the stowage bins. But I can't find a single photo either of an M47 "properly" stowing spare links anywhere, not even heavily stowed French M47s deployed on the Suez operation. There is a photo of a Bosnian M47 with 2 pairs of links on the turret left rear side, but they're just sat on the stowage racks rather than "properly" stowed. M47 had longer side bins than M48, same as M46. Perhaps they were stowed in the bins?
