I'd be tempted to go for the Red Beard configuration John, not out of any militarism but as a grim reminder of the ultimate lethality of the Cold War period. A personal perspective of course.

I was thinking along those lines too Tony, I have a Mk.7 bomb as in the first photo which I was going to display on the trolly along with a gun pack on a trolly too. I could rig the bomb bay for the shape, and add 25lb practice bombs on the wing pylons for LABS training?

Yes but I'm not a computer specialist so excuse my layman's terms. If I were @GROWLER I’d try to clean my computer caches and then reboot the computer to see if it isn't something glitching that way. I had a similar problem recently and when i cleared my viewing history and did a hard re-boot of the phone that fixed it.

That sounds a promising array John and I would in any case defer to your breadth of knowledge in such matters. :nodding:

John and colleagues! Thank you for your attention to my problem! John, you yourself gave me a hint))) I forgot about the phone.
I even reinstalled Windows on the computer (I still had other questions for my browsers), but I did not see the pictures on the computer. But I decided to take a look through the phone, and "Voila" ! )))

That's good news! Was it worth the effort though 🙂

Well Tony, having said all that, I've changed my mind, as I'm wont to do, I'm now going with, gun pack in the bay, and 2 x 1000 lb's on the wing pylons, and if I can find something I can use 16x 4.5 inch photo flares in the front of the bomb bay, but I'm not swearing on it! :)

I don’t think the armourers would be too happy having conventional training weapons and buckets of instant sunshine in the same location, too much of a chance for Nordhorn to disappear in a fungi-shaped cloud! The USAF policemen would have frowned on it too!

Well Ian, Hank and his K.9 can stand down. I'm going for ground attack this time around. I'll save the special store for the B(I)8. so no fungus blosum this year.

Oh dear, feeling twinges of urge to get out a Classic Airframes kit... I'm afraid that I wouldn't give the same level of attention to detail, though, so if I do attack a Canberra, you might not want to look!

Get her out of the box Bob, no Canberra should be hidden away in the dark! I'm always happy to see a Canberra.  The CA kit makes a nice B.2 out of the box so no need to do much to it.

How did I miss this build John?

Absolutely outstanding work already and love the subject of the Canberra too.

Funnily enough I was very tempted to pick up another Canberra in 1/48 whilst at eModels the other day...loads on the shelf ready to go.

Also, was a pleasure to meet you at IPMS last month and the huge range of Canberra's you had on display.

Hi Mikey

It was good to see you too, it's always good to put a face to a name. I definitely think you should dip a toe back in the Canberra pool, one is never enough! Good to have you along for the ride.

I've started to work on the gun pack. The Boulton Paul designed gun pack is very much like an Iceberg, what you see on the outside is a small percentage of the gun pack. The first job is to fix the resin pack to a plastic card floor, this will be the base for all the substantial amount of superstructure that goes to make up this bit of kit.

This next photo shows the area that needs filling in red, to allow for the built in contouring on the resin part. The plastic card is outlined in yellow.
