stringbag
I have to say that this kit really does capture the 748 very well. Looking forward to seeing the Andover too. Chris.

Homebee
The last Andover C.1 3D renders are really impressive. Source: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1218793414983654&set=a.276395985890073 Having relaxed this afternoon working on the 1/48th Andover CC.2 parts I can just say that I'm really impresssed by this Toshihiko Shimizu San product. Yes, a lot of sanding works and rescribing the surface but also a lot of fun. Highly recommended. Herebelow two smartphone's pictures of this new modelling experience, my first full 3D printed kit and I like it (not my phone...). Waiting now impatiently the announced Kawasaki C-1 & C-2 as well as Shin-Maywa kits. Maybe the right place to confess some 1/48th (of course!) dreams: P-2V Neptune, P-3 Orion, C-119 Flying Boxcar, L.1049/C-121 Super Constellation/Warning Star, T-29 & C-131 Samaritan, DC-4/C-54A Skymaster, KC-135 Stratotanker, Nord 2501 Noratlas and of course some - smaller - British subjects like DH.104 Dove/(Sea)Devon, Percival Pembroke/Sea Prince and last but not least a family of Avro Shackleton MR & AEW. 71chally
My big question, and I'm guessing best answered to Toshihiko himself, will these products ever get printed on something that can produce smooth curves and cylinders? I really like the look of his kits, and they are subjects I like, but I have a small modelling area and that much sanding is prohibitive for me. I do applaud him for his choices and marketing these kits.
One Man Model
I will not purchase any printers by 2021. In 2022 or 2023, I would purchase one more new 3D printer. Using 3D smoother or filler with sanding is much more efficient way. Smoothing only by sanding is really time consuming process. Using Tamiya grey putty, XTC-3D resin coating, badger 3D prime smoother etc are more efficient but need to be accustomed.

follasha
I have built a 2nd HS.748 for a customer that used to crew with Mount Cook Airlines in NZ, this one has the 1970s livery. Des
Looks really good , had my 1/72 kit for a few months now but circumstances preventing me from getting started until some other projects are done and dusted , hope it turns out as well as yours when I do get going. follasha
It builds well, it just requires you have some patience with surface preparation (much wet & dry sanding and a little filler). IMG_3420 by Harry Follas, on Flickr 4
