Armee De L'Air Jaguar A, Gulf war scheme

Recommended Posts

Having not built anything for over a year i decided to raid the stash for something vaguely quick and easy!

This is the 1:72 Hasegawa Sepecat Jaguar, and as i have 5 RAF ones i decided to do this one finished as A130/11-YK of the French Air Force, circa 1991, in faded/dirty  Gulf War/desert sand scheme.

The BL755s will be replaced when something more suitable turns up ;)

Looks good in French colours, does the Hasegawa kit have both noses?

Yes, both British and French boxing have both noses.  The trainer version only comes with the refuelling probe nose though, so you have to make/acquire a pitot for the RAF T2 (unless you just chose to ignore it of course).

Thanks for the replies 😀

Yeah it’s a bit of a bonus getting the choice to do either type, just could with a few more ammo options!

I always thought the French camouflage was better on the Jaguar in GW1. In fact French camouflage was always better whatever the era.

Je ne sais quoi.
