VMA131Marine
The P-43 was a Republic Aviation product, being the progenitor of the P-47, not Curtiss, who were busy with the P-40. I'll be watching this with great interest as the Classic Airframes' kit goes for silly money these days; I know, I sold one for silly money. This should be a much better kit too. Update: Yes, the title of the OP did originally say Curtiss not Republic. Edited October 8, 2019 by VMA131Marine 3

kopperhed
Sold! An interesting aircraft from the golden age of aviation. What a time to be a modeler! I was just sanding down my shelf-queen CA kit. Maybe I'll finish both.

Corsairfoxfouruncle
I wonder if @dora is planning on scaling this down to 1/72 ? If not i will get the 1/48 kit.
flarpen
I wonder if they are working on this instead of the much more sought after P-35A? Don't get me wrong, I would like to see a new P-43 and even a XP-41 in 1/48, but not at the cost of a new P-35A and 2-PA kit.
Mike Esposito
Yes. Would rather see the Seversky pursuit. Hope this is not the case. But the Lancer looks nice. 😎

Если нет, я получу комплект 1/48. Work on the Seversky P-35 continues with another designer. Unfortunately, due to some circumstances, the former was unable to continue work. But nothing, the project will be completed anyway. And yes, the P-43 will also be made in 1/72. 2

Mike
Detail looks good. I'm going to need to Wiki the info about this though, as I'm fuzzy on the facts. Edit: Linky for anyone not already au fait.
