Just got an Italeri C-130H in 1/48.  Wife has heard rumours of its size but not seen it yet....

Nice one.

In retaliation she's now going to buy a fish tank.

Inanimate plastic object v long term commitment to water warming electric bill.

I saw a built version somewhere where the builder had cleverly built slots into the wings so he could attach/detach the wings and store the kit like those gliders you see on trailers....

I see that for approx £100 some one makes some resin flaps & slats for this beast!!!!!! (oh, then buy the aftermarket engines & counter measures suite as well......... perhaps you are right, a divorce is cheaper

Well think I will do my own Herc engine mods & stick in some motors & lights too.  Who knows how long it will take to get it built but might have some fun along the way

or did you mean for the B-1?  Slats & flaps etc would look good

Yeah my missus wasnt happy about the overly large size of my BOne either...

I started work on the wings a few years back to drop the flaps and slats, she took one look at it realised how big it was going to be started dropping hints and that one slowly moved further and futher down the pile.
