theplasticsurgeon
Another that I'd love to know the full pothential. Grumman X-29 Forward Swept Wing, finished like a USAF F-16. Kit acquired as an exchange for an unwanted Fujimi Skyhawk. Parts and candidate lo-vix decals. Here's one that I built in about 1989. There was a full size model X-29 at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, Washington DC, when I was fortunate enough to visit in 1994. . . which I thought was a real aircraft.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Nice choice again, i did something similar with my F-20. I built it as an Indiana A.N.G. “Blacksnakes” plane. Looking forward to this will it be air superiority or mixed mission ?

I hadn't given much thought to the mission, but markings for that F-16B Wolf Pack.

theplasticsurgeon
This isn't my first FSW, here's another I prepared earlier. An Airfix Lightning F1A, from which I used the wings on another project.

Corsairfoxfouruncle
These definitely build up quick, good to know the kits behaving and you have no nasty surprises.
theplasticsurgeon
Canopy masked, ready for airbrushing. Humbrol 166 underside and Humbrol 128 nose, and Humbrol 27 rear fuselage and wings. No masking for demarcations, airbrushing towards edges, or exercise of the twin-action.

theplasticsurgeon
Very quick morning-after phone-photo of decals. It was all action at TPS Grove last night! Neighbours directly opposite appear to be away - and one of their kids decided to have a party. One of those parties that got out on the internet, and hundreds of kids turned up. Around 11pm, the Police arrived to break it up - so plenty to watch.

Vultures1
Looks great! Plus you have settled my internal dilemma of how to orientate the stars-and-bars on a forward-swept wing 🙂
