Wonderer
Hey, so I am currently doing the monotonous task of drilling out holes on my 1.72 Revell U-boat and wondering how I go about tidying up, getting rid of all the minute flecks of shavings and smoothing the holes once drilled? I remember hearing of a method using laquer thinner but can't find it again. Any ideas? There has to be a easier way than individually sanding each tiny hole? Kind regards Rich
Rob G
I'd just use a larger size drill to lightly countersink the hole. Slight pressure and a quick twist with the fingers, done. Practice on a bit of scrap first (as always). Failing that, I've also used a brass suede brush for cleaning up plastic debris.
