Devilfish
Very nice pair. I do love a good Hurricane or two! Only a couple of tiny issues. It looks to me (and I could be wrong) like you've chipped the ailerons on the Mk1. The ailerons are fabric covered. Also they both appear to be facing down. One should be up, as they are used to induce roll. Other than that, excellent work.
noelh
I always like Hurricanes particularly Air Corps. Agree with devilfish re the ailerons. But I see you tried to replicate the obvious wear on the the leading edges of the wings as seen on the well known photo of 93. I haven't seen anyone try that before and it's such an obvious feature in the photos. Incidentally the pilot in those photos of 93 is almost certainly Flt Lt Don West of the RAF. simonj
@noelh @Devilfish @rio @RMCS The 'chipped' ailerons are botched gloss coat Delighted that someone noticed the weathering on the port wing leading edge damage from the photos - Really appreciate your time for feedback - thanks so much 😊

simonj
I was especially happy with the way the engine exhaust came out - first attempt at pigments Edited October 2, 2019 by simonj

I'm easily pleased - but seriously, I was happy with it as a first attempt
Spitfire31
Very good looking Hurricane! One nit pick – that starboard 'cockpit hatch' isn't a hinged access hatch at all. It's a loose, push-out emergency exit panel. Nice modelling! Kind regards, Joachim
simonj
Yup - I was not aware of that and folks have educated me on the matter. I appreciate the feedback and will fix it in due course. I thought it would be like the Spitfire. Feedback really appreciated, I dont consider it nit picking at all - thanks for the feedback
