Dubz
Some preparations and tests.  The stand.     Anti Lightbleeding preparations.     Both SD's together.      For me the trench never was a big issue BUT the compressed superstructure is. That's what the Zvezda makes so flat lookin 😞 But I must say I really like the size way more then Bandai's.    More preparations.  Powerconnector     Primer (Stynlrez black)    The detailing Bandai did is incredible...    cheers  Dirk
Dubz
First coat of paint. Tamyia XF-2 with some drops XF-19, a bit too much XF-19 (blueish) this time but that's ok it is "just" my testingthingsbuild 🙂   The amaount of details is ... no words.       Comparing Bandai and Zvezda Bridge ... not fair to do honestly 😛    cheers  Dirk  3
Thom216
Yeah that is a lot of great detail. And they have the garbage chute! Â Couple questions though. Some profile pics are showing what looks like a bend up at the bow? And the front wall detail at the front of the first deck house shows them slanting down towards the middle? That last I've seen on a few other pics, but the banana-curve in the bow is something new. Or am I just seeing things..?
Dubz
There is a bending problem at the bow unfortunately. Not fully glued yet.  More progress 🙂     Spotlights       Lights         cheers  Dirk

Dubz
This can happen when accidentally using the wrong power supply (24V) ... I call it battle damage ... arghhh ... could have been a disaster though ... haha.      I like the light in this shot.    And already built the case for this SD.         cheers  Dirk
