P-47 cockpits postwar (ANG)

Tried to find this on my own, and the more I read the more I'm not sure (know that feeling?)

Postwar P-47D's/F-47's, circa 1947-50, would the cockpits typically still be dark dull green, or were they black by then?  Vermont ANG if it makes a difference....

Also, if it's a poswar D30, then would the corrugated floor be made into a flat one?

Andrew,

If I remember correctly, the corrugated cockpit floor was replaced with a flat floor after the -25/26 block. After those two blocks, the flat floor was fitted, including those on P-47Ms, which were all built from -27 block airplanes, as I recall. Now the hard part- I'm guessing that if any P-47D's or N's went through overhaul/heavy maintenance at one of the air depots before being issued to the ANG or another country's air force, then quite possibly the cockpits might also have been painted black, but the Jug served so briefly in postwar service with the ANG, that this might not have occurred, as the airplanes that were issued would most likely have been new or very low-time airframes. That's just my thinking on the subject. Hope this helps!
