Outstanding Stix!👍

That's amazing work all round. I still remember your 1/72 dio and didn't think you could top that one.

Well done and congratulations on, perhaphs, your best work yet.

Cheers Greg

Hi Greg. Thank you very much for your very kind comments. You are always very generous.

..great work...deserves to be somewhere more 'permanent' (than a forum)... love the way you have the rockets just missing the target as well. It must have been impossible to hit anything specific with such a weapon..

Thank you very much FalkeEins for your kind comments. And it's a good point about the difficulty for hitting the target in such circumstances.

Kind regards,

Stix

This is another fantastic addition to my favorite section of BM.

You ought to be extremely pleased with this diorama Stix.

I know I would love to come up with something that approaches how impressive this is.

👍👍

This is such a great idea and amazingly well executed. The models have such clean lines and everything in the dio is so precise. Wonderful work. How long did it take from start to finish?

Hi Muchmirth. That is very kind of you to say. It was built as part of two Group Builds which ran at the same time - The Tiger STGB and the D-Day GB. It took, all-in-all, roughly four months to make.

Amazing diorama Stix, fantastic composition. Building a static diorama is difficult enough but adding so much convincing action to it.  I like it a lot,

Cheers,

Ernst.

Hi Ernst and thank you very much for your kind comments.

Awesome concept and great job on execution. Lots to engage with and admire about this one. I agree with Badder on the clear perspex stick for what it’s worth.

Hi nimrod484. Thank you for your kind comments. I didn't use a clear Perspex rod in this instance, because I needed to get the wires from the battery - which is hidden in the base - up to the motor in the Typhoon to make the propeller rotate. The wires inside a Perspex tube would have been just as noticeable, I think.

Kind regards,

Stix

Ah, I see! Thanks for clarifying that. And I will just add that what I love about this diorama is the way you have integrated scenery, figures, an aircraft and an afv. Takes a lot of skill, thought and effort to cover all those aspects. Top stuff.

Smashing! The instant I saw your photos I thought "That should be on the cover of a

Commando comic". So I looked them up and discovered:

a.) They are still being published

b.) I was almost exactly correct!

p.s. I love that hand pulling the hatch closed!🤣

p.p.s. I just read that it's 1/48 not 1/35. I'm even more impressed now.
