Gary Brantley Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Very well done Werner! 🍻 Great attention to detail, and I really like the camo work. I've built that same Italeri kit, done as a "what-if" some years ago. I think the Mirage F.1 is just a beautiful aircraft, no matter what livery she wears. 😉 Here's my take on the kit: CSAF Mirage F.1 2
Nikolay Polyakov Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Excellent camo, Werner - perfect job! 👍 1

Grey 371 approx for the tank, grey 374 for the aircraft underside, and 378 for the top grey, the green is 363 and 65 ~ 50:50 Werner 1

stevehnz Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 Nice build Werner, love that scheme with the Sharkey tank. I have a S.H F.1 with a Djbouti desert scheme with a tank like that, I'd still love to find decals to do one like yours in 1/72. Steve.

True, those decals 1/72 seem not to exist as of now but SH will come up with a dedicated box for sure, just as Italeri did....! 1

Hoops Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 Great looking build Werner, Do you have any good reference of the camera behind the glass in the nose? I've not been able to come up with much in my internet searches. I have the special hobby kit in 1/72 and would like to add some detail there. Cheers! Hoops 1

I know that there are different sets of camera the panoramic Omega 40 and the objective/ long Omega 35.... unfortunately also the fairing differs..... I just made a hole, painted it silver and added a transparent fairing... better then the kit offering.... see also the WIP 1
